Get to Know Me
The Story
Gaius Fitzgibbon owned Mind Body Spirit Radio Ltd until its sale, including WCR Radio Croydon & a partnership in MBS Lifestyles TV, producing shows focused on alternative healing on his then ''Mind Body Spirit lifestyles Media Network'' with shows produced in Manchester.
He was fortunate to work with the late ''Barefoot Doctor'' on many shows that were made from Manchester. This led to him having quite a following during the years he was developing his media network in the North West.
Since performing in Covent Garden he has built up a loyal following. He is completely independent of the owners of Covent Garden & only performs on the cobbles that surround the market. The cobbles that surround Covent Garden market are under the control of ''Westminster City Council'' and is a public thoroughfare just like any other pedestrianized street. These cobbles are NOT private & not controlled by Covent Garden.

He has broadcast on BBC West Midlands radio and served as a late-night presenter for a 5 station networked radio show in Manchester, Liverpool, and the North West. Gaius lived on a boat in Little Venice, London, before relocating to Audlem, Cheshire, where he raised his family. He has worked as a team leader for individuals with learning disabilities at Westminster City Council's Social and Education Centre in Lisson Grove. He helped develop the ILX, then ''Key Skills'' multimedia multi platform project management ''Prince'' audio visual training programme back in the late 1990's in Nantwich Cheshire.
He permanently returned to London over a decade ago and holds a ''First'' from the North West School of Art & Design and a City and Guilds in Musical Instrument Technology. He had photographed some international Royal Weddings. He opened a small photo studio with commissions from Italy to Africa & continues to enjoy international relations.
He plays the saxophone, guitar, and percussion, and was a member of the Merton Orchestra in Surrey during college. He has released two CDs of relaxing chilled Saxophone music.
Gaius reflects. ''The destruction of music & entertainment venues all around the UK is appalling & worrying in that no one in Parliament really understands this industry & is selling the next generation of musicians and entertainers down the river.''
"My initial plan was to play a bit of Jazz in Covent Garden as a busker until retirement. Instead, I uncovered a level of corruption & abuse directed at me musicians and various vulnerable groups from the establishment that was impossible to ignore.
The deeper I went the more corrupt I found the establishment to be. The only way to make meaningful change is from within parliament. This story needed telling, I needed to share it. The more I uncovered the hidden corruption and deceit in the cracks and alleyways of our busy London lives, the more compelling was the need to expose it. As a busker in London, I found an anonymity that allowed me to perceive what many overlooked. Nobody thought I was listening or indeed recording all of this. After all, I'm just a busker; what did I know?" And that's my point. Why does the establishment view a disabled busker as less that any other person. This was also apparent at ''Westminster City Council'' a Labour run council!

Gaius uses a wheelchair and as a Londoner like so many people he uses the NHS. He has been waiting almost 2 years for a life altering operation that could possibly allow him to walk again. People who worked with him in a maintenance business in South London lost their livelihoods because the NHS in Lewisham/Greenwich is a very poor trust with chronic illness waiting times and management that is woefully inadequate and is a trust Gaius will be investigating & reporting on first hand.
Projects
Key objectives in London.
1Project
Music & Entertainment venues - Met Police corruption
Gaius advocates for a change in the law that means: If a music or entertainment venue existed prior to any residential development taking place, the rights of the venue supersede the rights of the new residents.
If a noisy nightclub Theatre restaurant or entertainment venue existed prior to a block of flats being built next door, the new residents cannot complain about the noise & have the club closed down as the developers will be, under law, required to state this fact in the sale or lees agreement. This will be under the legal requirement concerning ''informed consent.''

The Met Police London
As a typical London worker, I've witnessed and uncovered significant corruption within the Met police first hand. This has been corroborated by the Met's own Commissioner admitting at least 30% of the Met being corrupt. Consequently, the Met has interfered with my political aspirations, as I am someone the establishment fears as an MP. I am aware of the buried truths within political bodies, and preventing me from gaining power to enact change is crucial for them. My objective is to completely abolish the Met, as I believe reform is impossible; instead, we should create a new, competent police in London that operates with integrity. The current government recognizes the Met's corruption but lacks the courage act. Let's refrain from voting for another complacent lawyer MP who merely sees your vote as a stepping stone.

I am also deeply unhappy concerning the Met's constant denial of business licences in the Westminster area, such as trying to stop a Greggs in Leicester Square from 24 hour opening. The Met are a danger to the growth of entertainment business opportunities in London and need their lazy & negative approach to policing in London dealt with. Westminster City Council Labour party councillors need to be faced with their constant cozening up to ''suspect developers'' taking hospitality without question that routinely abuse the law & is allowed by the Labour run WCC.
If you , particularly any musicians entertainers or businesses have had problems with the Met police. Please get in touch. We are appointing lawyers & this may help.....Click Here

NHS & Housing
The NHS requires comprehensive reform. Many MPs rely on private healthcare and cannot relate to the lengthy waits for essential healthcare. Personally, I am in a wheelchair because I have been unable to access the neurosurgery, Lewisham/Greenwich that would enable me to walk again, and I have been waiting for nearly two years. I urge you to stop supporting MPs who use private healthcare and instead consider me, someone who genuinely understands the challenges Londoners face with the NHS. The NHS has failed because it is being run by bureaucratic failures. They need to go and be replaced with people who can get things done. The current Government doesn't have the b...s to fire incompetent hospital administrators.
To address the housing crisis in London, we must stop constructing expensive private tower blocks filled with unaffordable, mostly vacant apartments on public land. Instead, we should focus solely on building social housing, ensuring that land owned by your borough council is dedicated to affordable housing only with life long tenancies for the millions of Londoners without a permanent secure affordable home. The only barrier preventing councils from doing this are the fiscal rules imposed by Margaret Thatcher, which have remained unchanged by any subsequent Labour Government. WHY? I am committed to making that change

Money
Back to Cash... I advocate for a return to cash. Cash means you to take control of your finances without interference from banks dictating when, how much, or where you can spend it. It ensures that your hard-earned money isn’t siphoned off by banks, and it prevents small businesses from losing their earnings to them in fees. Moreover, government access to your bank account can happen just because you receive a pension, or for any reason at all. Don’t sacrifice your freedom to manage your money by supporting another uninspiring MP who aims to limit your choices. I will defend your right to use your money as you see fit, and if you prefer cash, you should be able to keep it that way. BACK TO CASH

On a personal note....
One of my accounts, with the same bank. has been hacked twice. Another account once more. In all honestly if I had kept my balance under the mattress it would have been safer. Also the banks ignoring our complaints means I would have had more recourse in action to recover in cash. Thank Coop Bank for your non-support. This bank does seem to have a real problem with security and accountability.
